Admission Rules
A student who has passed higher secondary Part-2nd/ 12th of JK Board or CBSE examination from any recognized education board or its equivalent by the University of Jammu is eligible for admissions to B.A/B.COM.
Students seeking admission to B.A/B.COM courses shall apply on a prescribed application form which can be obtained from the college office. They will attach attested copies of the requisite documents with the application form.
The admissions of students with the break in their academic career, will not be considered. However, such of the cases may be considered by the principal provided the latter feels satisfied about the reasons of the break thereof and also subject to the availability of the seats.
Students will not be granted admission in colleges that do not fall within the catchment areaol their permanent residential area without the production of NOC from the college of their area.
Documents Required
Attested copy of marks card of Class X.
Attested copy of marks card of class XII.
Attested copy of required category certificate issued by the competent Authority as slated in the RO 126/294.
Provisional Certificate issued by the head of Department of the institution last head of the Department of the institution last attended (original only).
Five copies of recent passport size photograph.
Candidate having one year gap can seek admission on providing a character certificate signed by a first Class Magistrate/Gazetted officer in original.
Students seeking admission are advised to bring all original certificates at the lime of admission for verification.
Students who had qualified class XII other than JKBOSE must enclosed TC/Migration certificate of respective institution.
NOC required from previous college with cancellation approved by university.
